A Floyd County graduate and Blacksburg local, Michael Baker has over 10 years of experience in carpentry, remodeling, and custom home building. Over the years he has worked with a variety of local contractors and custom home builders, furthering his knowledge, perfecting his craft and following his passion. One of the projects he assisted on with a local company went on to win the Home of the Year Award.

After a decade of learning, building, and working with clients, Michael offers his experience and knowledge to the New River Valley, where he works directly with existing and potential home owners on their custom projects. He enjoys a range of carpentry work, including building decks, bathroom and kitchen remodels, custom home building, and furniture.

When Michael is not practicing his trade, he enjoys being outdoors with his family, playing music with friends, and spending time with his corgi and two cats.
